The Brothers García is an American sitcom that premiered in 2000 on Nickelodeon and ended in 2004. It was among the first projects of Sí TV, an effort to produce programming featuring Latino characters, however being aimed at a diverse audience.[1] (Sí TV has since launched its own cable-television network.)
The series aired on the programming block Nick on CBS from March 14, 2004 to September 11, 2004, where the series ended its initial run. Reruns on The N started on April 7, 2008, and ended in June 2008. Similarities to the series could be made to the style of The Wonder Years and Everybody Hates Chris, with an older version of the main character narrating each episode in a witty and sarcastic manner.

The series follows the adventures and life of the Latino-American García family, as narrated by the older version of one of the sons, Larry. Larry recounts his life alongside George, Carlos, and Lorena (his two brothers and twin sister, respectively), and the way they deal with everyday problems such as school, work, growing up, and all living in one house.
The series is about boys being boys, with Larry, George and Carlos Garcia put brotherly love to the test. The Brothers Garcia makes television history as the first English language sitcom with an all Latino cast, directors, and producers. From his funny, now adult perspective, Larry Garcia recalls his quest as an 11-year-old to fit in with his older brothers (13-year-old athletic Carlos and George, a l2-year-old walking encyclopedia) and to experss his individuality, despite the attention-getting behavior of his twin sister Lorena. Ray is a proud father and his wife Sonia is a loving mother that tries to make her kids the best they can be.
